You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.Many are the plans in a human mind, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will prevail.

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.For all of us fall short in many ways. Anyone who never makes a mistake in speech has reached perfection and is able to control every part of his body.

May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.Rather, I discipline my body and bring it under control, for fear that after preaching to others I myself may be disqualified.
