- You shall walk in all the way which Yahweh your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
- Even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
- Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
and enables me to go in high places. - Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them. Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.
- That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness.
A poor man is better than a liar. - For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more.
- There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
- Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
- If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- One who walks with wise men grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm. - For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.
- Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
- How can a young man keep his way pure?
By living according to your word. - I have no greater joy than this: to hear about my children walking in truth.
- But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
- It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,
than to put confidence in man. - But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
- The fear of man proves to be a snare,
but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. - Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
- There is a way which seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death.
