And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”
But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.Let your word be ‘Yes, Yes’ or ‘No, No’; anything more than this comes from the evil one.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour.
On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.Over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.How much more valuable is a human being than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. You received without payment; give without payment.
But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.I tell you, on the day of judgment you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
