But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. | But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses. |
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” | And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” |

Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will,’ or ‘No, I won’t.’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one. | But make sure your statement is, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil origin. |

God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. | Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. |
And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? | Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? |
Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. | Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. |
A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” | And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” |
And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath. | How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. |
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. | But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you. |

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. | In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets. |
