- For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For nothing spoken by God is impossible.
- For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- In God, I praise his word.
In God, I put my trust.
I will not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart. - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
- God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Know therefore that Yahweh your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness to a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commandments.
- Yet I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt;
and you shall acknowledge no god but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
- But our God is in the heavens.
He does whatever he pleases. - Because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.
- God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
- But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
- My soul rests in God alone.
My salvation is from him.
Behold, God is my helper.
The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
