My joy (3/4)

All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you.
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.I lifted up my voice in prayer to him; his praise was on my tongue.
If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.Even though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, even though the olive crop will fail and the orchards will yield no food, even though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, I will continue to rejoice in the Lord, and exult in the God of my salvation.
When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah
The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me; you are my glory and the one who raises my head high.
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.
If you love me, keep my commands. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.You are truly my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead and guide me.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where will I receive help? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.O Lord, hear my prayer, incline your ear to my supplications. In your faithfulness respond to me with your righteousness.
Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.Your kindness is a greater joy than life itself; thus my lips will speak your praise. I will bless you all my life; with uplifted hands I will call on your name.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”The Lord is my portion, I say to myself; therefore, I will place my hope in him.
My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.My life is in your hands; deliver me from the power of my enemies, from the clutches of those who pursue me.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. My son, do not forget my teaching, but cherish my commandments in your heart, for they will bring you length of days, more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity.
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.Bless the Lord, O my soul; my entire being, bless his holy name.
Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not my own; rather, it comes from him who sent me.”
Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied.

I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
