Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.If you love me, keep my commands.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
