Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me; may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever.Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children.
However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
O Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I stand; you perceive my thoughts from a distance.You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.

As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires.Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
God is our refuge and our strength, a well-proved help in times of trouble.God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

However, the wisdom that comes from above is first of all pure, then peaceable, gentle, and considerate, full of mercy and good fruits, without any trace of partiality or hypocrisy.
