- Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord;

Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah - O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.” - I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name! - Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. - He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God? - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise. - Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
- You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
