- Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding!
Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. - For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps.
- Guarding the paths of justice,
And He watches over the way of His godly ones. - But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
- Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
- If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
- I have not failed the command of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. - “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be performed,” ’ ” declares the Lord God.
- And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
- One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.
- So you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I am giving you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and that you may live long on the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you.
- I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
- When you make a vow to God, do not be late in paying it; for He takes no delight in fools. Pay what you vow!
- For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
- You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.
- And it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to follow all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us.
- If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever!
- Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
- God makes a home for the lonely;
He leads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the rebellious live in parched lands. - Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- But I will sacrifice to You
With a voice of thanksgiving.
That which I have vowed I will pay.
Salvation is from the Lord. - It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves.
- But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’
- Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.”
