| Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. | The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. |
| A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart. | Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the hearts. |
| Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. | Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. |
| When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong. | Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. |
