Person (2/4)

The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke. The ransom of a man's life is his wealth, but a poor man hears no threat.
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls.A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work. And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.
But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.Understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.
For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
Who “will render to each one according to his deeds”He will render to each one according to his works.
Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
