The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, But the poor does not hear rebuke.Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats.
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? So also no one comprehends what is truly God's except the Spirit of God.
Whoever has no rule over his own spirit Is like a city broken down, without walls.Like a city breached, without walls, is one who lacks self-control.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow.
Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work. And steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord. For you repay to all according to their work.
But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all.
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust. This means understanding that the law is laid down not for the innocent but for the lawless and disobedient, for the godless and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their father or mother, for murderers, fornicators, sodomites, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.If another disciple sins, you must rebuke the offender, and if there is repentance, you must forgive. And if the same person sins against you seven times a day, and turns back to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. For just as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. If any think they are religious, and do not bridle their tongues but deceive their hearts, their religion is worthless.
For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. For all of us make many mistakes. Anyone who makes no mistakes in speaking is perfect, able to keep the whole body in check with a bridle.
For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.

Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
