Power of prayer&p=3 (4/4)

For I know that this will turn out to my salvation through your prayers and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
I love you, Yahweh, my strength. Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
Who is this King of glory? Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah.Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory.
You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.
Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.
For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the ax. They deck it with silver and with gold. They fasten it with nails and with hammers, so that it can’t move. They are like a palm tree, of turned work, and don’t speak. They must be carried, because they can’t move. Don’t be afraid of them; for they can’t do evil, neither is it in them to do good.Their ways are futile and foolish. They cut down a tree, and a craftsman carves an idol. They decorate it with gold and silver and then fasten it securely with hammer and nails so it won’t fall over. Their gods are like helpless scarecrows in a cucumber field! They cannot speak, and they need to be carried because they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of such gods, for they can neither harm you nor do you any good.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver. The heart of the wicked is of little worth. The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let’s press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

That he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints. He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him.
Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away.
The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked will perish. The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands. And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!
Having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever. For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.
For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
