Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me. - Who is this King of glory?
Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah. - For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
- For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.
- But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
- Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also had been baptized and was praying. The sky was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying “You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased.”
- Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
- The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
- Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
- The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver.
The heart of the wicked is of little worth. - That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
- Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
- Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let’s press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
- But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- I love you, Yahweh, my strength.
Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. - I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. - Being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- That he may guard the paths of justice,
and preserve the way of his saints. - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
- Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
