- Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.

and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
- For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. - Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord.
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
