- I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples,
and I will sing praises to you among the nations. - My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have rescued. - Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides upon the clouds —
his name is the Lord—
be exultant before him.
Father of orphans and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be known in all the earth. - I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all day long. - About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. - Take words with you
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all guilt;
accept that which is good,
and we will offer
the fruit of our lips.”
The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. Do not fear, for I am with you,
do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.Next verse!With image
