- I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations. - My lips will shout for joy,
when I sing praises to you;
my soul also, which you have redeemed. - Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts;
his name is the Lord;
exult before him!
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth. - I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all the day. - About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise. - Take with you words
and return to the Lord;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.”
Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”Next verse!With image
