Psalm 16:1 (2/9)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right.
For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me.
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.
I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth.
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.
