Psalm 16:1 (3/9)

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies!
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.
The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.
Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly.
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him?
