- Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away. - Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, Lord, You know it all. - Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. - For You created my innermost parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well. - Search me, God, and know my heart;
Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
Listen to my pleadings!
Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness! - I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You, like a weary land. Selah - Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning,
For I trust in You;
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul. - Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. - I will exalt You, my God, the King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
And kind in all His works. - The Lord is near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him in truth. - The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind;
The Lord raises up those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous. - The Lord watches over strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked. - He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will glorify the lowly with salvation. - Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! - But You, Lord, are a shield around me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah - In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice;
In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch. - For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him?
