Psalm 46 (4/9)

I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.
Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness.
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.
I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.
The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me.Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal. The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.
Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways.
Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.
I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
