Psalm 46 (5/9)

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.
For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely.
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, Give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, And in Your righteousness.Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness; answer me in your righteousness.
I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. SelahI stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.
I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever.I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.The Lord is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.The Lord watches over the strangers; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful.Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers.
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. SelahDeliverance belongs to the Lord; may your blessing be on your people! Selah

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?

I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
