Bible Verses about 'Psalm 133:1'
- See how good and how pleasant it is
for brothers to live together in unity! - Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me.
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever.
Don’t forsake the works of your own hands. - Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - For there is not a word on my tongue,
but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. - Where could I go from your Spirit?
Or where could I flee from your presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! - For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well. - Search me, God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way. - Hear my prayer, Yahweh.
Listen to my petitions.
In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. - I spread out my hands to you.
My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah. - Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning,
for I trust in you.
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
for I lift up my soul to you. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - I will exalt you, my God, the King.
I will praise your name forever and ever. - Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised!
His greatness is unsearchable. - Yahweh is righteous in all his ways,
and gracious in all his works. - Yahweh is near to all those who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind.
Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down.
Yahweh loves the righteous. - Yahweh preserves the foreigners.
He upholds the fatherless and widow,
but he turns the way of the wicked upside down. - He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. - For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people.
He crowns the humble with salvation. - Let everything that has breath praise Yah!
Praise Yah! - Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand on the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers. - But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - Salvation belongs to Yahweh.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah. - In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep,
for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety. - Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice.
In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. - For you will bless the righteous.
Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield. - What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart.
I will tell of all your marvelous works. - I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed;
a high tower in times of trouble. - Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - Arise, Yahweh!
God, lift up your hand!
Don’t forget the helpless. - But I trust in your loving kindness.
My heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to Yahweh,
because he has been good to me. - He who walks blamelessly and does what is right,
and speaks truth in his heart;
he who doesn’t slander with his tongue,
nor does evil to his friend,
nor casts slurs against his fellow man. - Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - I have set Yahweh always before me.
Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - You will show me the path of life.
In your presence is fullness of joy.
In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. - I love you, Yahweh, my strength.
Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. - In my distress I called on Yahweh,
and cried to my God.
He heard my voice out of his temple.
My cry before him came into his ears. - With the merciful you will show yourself merciful.
With the perfect man, you will show yourself perfect. - For you will light my lamp, Yahweh.
My God will light up my darkness. - As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tried.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. - For who is God, except Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - You have also given me the shield of your salvation.
Your right hand sustains me.
Your gentleness has made me great.
You have enlarged my steps under me,
My feet have not slipped. - The heavens declare the glory of God.
The expanse shows his handiwork.
Day after day they pour out speech,
and night after night they display knowledge. - Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul.
Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple. - Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. - Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in your sight,
Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer. - May he grant you your heart’s desire,
and fulfill all your counsel.
