Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Rebuke'
- Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.
- If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.
- The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
but the poor hear no threats. - Turn at my reproof.
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you.
I will make known my words to you. - My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline,
neither be weary of his correction;
for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects,
even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights. - Learn to do well.
Seek justice.
Relieve the oppressed.
Defend the fatherless.
Plead for the widow. - He is in the way of life who heeds correction,
but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray. - But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
- Yahweh, your God, is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.
- Do all things without complaining and arguing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, holding up the word of life.
- Whoever loves correction loves knowledge,
but he who hates reproof is stupid.
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
