Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.“Return to Me,” declares the Lord of armies, “that I may return to you,” says the Lord of armies.

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.
Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
Rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.“And tear your heart and not merely your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in mercy And relenting of catastrophe.
Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”Then Job got up, tore his robe, and shaved his head; then he fell to the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked I shall return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.Since you are precious in My sight, Since you are honored and I love you, I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life.
For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
Do not be like your ancestors, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” But they did not hear or heed me, says the Lord.“Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying, ‘This is what the Lord of armies says: “Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not listen or pay attention to Me,” declares the Lord.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands.As he came naked from his mother’s womb, so he will return as he came. Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin.Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.

A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.

Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again.Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out.Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.And let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
