In the same way, I tell you, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8	For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. sin salvation death

If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness. But the Almighty we cannot find; he is unequaled in power and judgment, and in his righteousness he will not violate justice. Job 37:23	We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress. God righteousness strength
Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22	Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. desires temptation evil
He reserves his wisdom for the upright and is a shield to those who lead blameless lives. Proverbs 2:7	He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. righteousness blessing protection
Recognizing that laws are not designed for the upright. They are for the lawless and insubordinate, for the godless and sinful, for the unholy and irreligious; they are for those who slay their fathers and mothers, for murderers, for those who are fornicators, sodomites, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and for whatever else is contrary to the sound teaching that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which has been entrusted to me. 1 Timothy 1:9-11	As knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine, according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. law sin sexuality

He is a rock, his deeds are perfect, and all of his ways are just. He is a God of truth who does no wrong; he is just and upright. For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin. Romans 3:20	Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. sin law righteousness
Do not envy a violent man or choose to emulate any of his ways. For the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord whose friendship is bestowed only upon the upright. For the Lord loves the just, and he will not forsake his faithful ones. Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed, and the children of the wicked will be cut off. Commit your way to the Lord; place your trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause, like the noonday.

Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
