Bible Verses about 'Romans 12'

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written: “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.
Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.

For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
