For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. | Guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. |
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. | But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. |

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. | And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. |
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. | Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. |
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. | For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. |
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. | Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. |
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. | O you who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. |
For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish. | For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. |
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen. | The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. |
