| For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. | He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. |
| But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. | But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints. |

| And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. | Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. |
| And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. | Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. |
| God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. | For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. |
| I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. | The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. |
| Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. | You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. |
| For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish. | For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen. | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |
| Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. | Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone. |

| “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” | Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” |

| When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. | If I say, “My foot slips,” Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. |
| “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” | Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” |
| He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” | And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” |
| Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” | So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” |
| On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.” | When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.” |
| Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” |
| Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” | But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” |
| And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” | And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” |
| Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.” | Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.” |
| The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” | But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” |
| “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” | The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel. |
| After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. | Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. |
