- But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.
- For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones. - And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
- And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
- God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
- I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
- Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.
- For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.
Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed;
the offspring of the wicked will perish. - The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

- Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
- Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
- And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”
- The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
- “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
- After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
- Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.
- The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
- “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”
- When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
- “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” - Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
- Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.
- Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
- Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- “Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
- Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
- On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
- But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
- “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
- While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
- Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
- But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
