- The ransom of a man's life is his wealth,
but a poor man hears no threat. - In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me! - But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and atone for our sins,
for your name's sake! - The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
