- With all my heart I have sought You;

And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight. - Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace.
- Do not participate in the useless deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
- Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
- It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves.
- Your adornment must not be merely the external—braiding the hair, wearing gold jewelry, or putting on apparel; but it should be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
