- What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!
- You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
- God will bless us.
All the ends of the earth shall fear him. - These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.
- For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”
- It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
- You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
- For it is written,
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘to me every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess to God.’” - The liberal soul shall be made fat.
He who waters shall be watered also himself. - Blessed are those who mourn,
for they shall be comforted. - Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
- For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.
- The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
- You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.
- Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still.
- You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’ but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
- So is my word that goes out of my mouth:
it will not return to me void,
but it will accomplish that which I please,
and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. But Jesus hearing it, answered him, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe, and she will be healed.”
