Bible Verses about 'Shall'

  • You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not give false testimony; Honor your father and mother; and You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
  • For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
  • What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
  • You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.

  • You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male slave, or his female slave, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
  • The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
  • For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
  • You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.

  • What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
  • When a man takes a new wife, he is not to go out with the army, nor be assigned any duty; he shall be free at home for one year and shall make his wife whom he has taken happy.
  • I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be eliminated by the waters of a flood, nor shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.

  • For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

    And every tongue will give praise to God.”
  • And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
  • Yet those who wait for the Lord
    Will gain new strength;
    They will mount up with wings like eagles,
    They will run and not get tired,
    They will walk and not become weary.
  • Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
  • Now all this took place so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled: “Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son, and they shall name Him Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
  • You shall not oppress any widow or orphan. If you oppress him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will assuredly hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
  • And the Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. Then the man said,
    “At last this is bone of my bones,
    And flesh of my flesh;
    She shall be called ‘woman,’
    Because she was taken out of man.”
    For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.
  • I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.
  • Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
  • If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
  • So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
    It will not return to Me empty,
    Without accomplishing what I desire,
    And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.
  • And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
