| Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. | Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. | Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. |

| Who builds his upper chambers in the heavens, and founds his vault upon the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the surface of the earth— the Lord is his name. | It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name. |
| If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. | Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. |
| Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path. | Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. |
| Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.” | Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. |

| You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name's sake lead me and guide me. | For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. |
| Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. | Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. |
