- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
For You have been my refuge
And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. - I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You;
And my soul, which You have redeemed. - I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations. - Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Exalt Him who rides through the deserts,
Whose name is the Lord, and be jubilant before Him.
A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows,
Is God in His holy dwelling. - Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things;
Let this be known throughout the earth. - But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - Because I saved the poor who cried for help,
And the orphan who had no helper.
The blessing of the one who was about to perish came upon me,
And I made the widow’s heart sing for joy. - Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- The Lord your God is in your midst,
A victorious warrior.
He will rejoice over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy. - Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - So you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have singled you out from the peoples to be Mine.
- The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - And on that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted.” - God makes a home for the lonely;
He leads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the rebellious live in parched lands. - For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
- And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
- Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; they all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.
- For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than live in the tents of wickedness. - For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!
- And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.” - Are five sparrows not sold for two assaria? And yet not one of them has gone unnoticed in the sight of God. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.
Are two sparrows not sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.Next verse!With image
