For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.”
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.And every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.”
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?
