And if the same person sins against you seven times a day, and turns back to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive.If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
You may say to yourself, “How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken?” If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.
But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.
