- You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
- And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
- So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
- These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
- Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! - Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken. - Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
- So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
- These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
- If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken. - For with God nothing will be impossible.
- Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’
- The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. - In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise. - But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
- “No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord. - Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Execute true justice,
Show mercy and compassion
Everyone to his brother.
Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless,
The alien or the poor.
Let none of you plan evil in his heart
Against his brother.’
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.Next verse!With image
