Bible Verses about 'Stay'

So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
Stay awake and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
How can a young man lead a spotless life? By living according to your word. How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.
If a man has recently been married, he is not to go off to battle nor have any other duty laid on him. He will be free to stay at home for one year so that he can bring happiness to the wife whom he has married. When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.
Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord. They will be like a tree planted by the water that spreads out its roots to the stream. When the heat comes, it does not fear; its leaves stay green. It is not concerned in a year of drought, and it never fails to bear fruit.Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
The Lord will battle for you. Be calm! The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
The Lord said to Moses, “Climb up to me on the mountain and remain there. I will give you stone tablets with the laws and commandments that I have written for their instruction.”Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”
Turn away from the mouth that deceives and keep your distance from lips that mislead.Put away from you a deceitful mouth, And put perverse lips far from you.
For his anger lasts for only a moment, while his goodwill endures for a lifetime. Weeping may last throughout the night, but at daybreak there is rejoicing. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
Ensure that the path you tread is level, and then your ways will be sure.Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.
The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will permit you to find him, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
Therefore, keep watch, for you do not know the day when your Lord is coming.Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
What god can compare with you, the God who takes away guilt and forgives the transgressions of the remnant of your people? You will not allow your anger to fester forever, for your delight is in bestowing mercy.Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.
Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil.Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
It was for freedom that Christ set us free. Therefore, stand firm and refuse to submit again to the yoke of slavery.Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Continue in them so that you may live and prosper and that you may long dwell on the land of your inheritance. You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

It is the will of God that you should lead a life of sanctity. You must refrain from sexual immorality. Each of you must learn to acquire a wife from pure and honorable motives, not to gratify passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God.
However, if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you are upright in your dealings with your neighbor; if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow; if you do not shed innocent blood in this place; and if you do not follow other gods and thereby cause your own destruction, then I will allow you to live in this place, in the land that I gave as a permanent gift to your fathers long ago.For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
