Bible Verses about 'Taketh'

And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.

Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors.Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
This is what I have seen to be good: it is fitting to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of the life God gives us; for this is our lot.Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life.
Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge.
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing personal opinion.Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.

She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.
Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses, but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God.Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the Lord our God.
I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.

The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
