And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in mortals.It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses, but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one.I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
