This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him.As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was revealed in flesh, vindicated in spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers.Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
So acknowledge today and take to heart that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world! These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
O how abundant is your goodness that you have laid up for those who fear you, and accomplished for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of everyone!Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
