- Blessed are the poor in spirit,

all their army by the breath of his mouth. - Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil,
to cut off their memory from the earth. - For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
- Children’s children are the crown of old men;
the glory of children is their parents. - For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them;
but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face,
because you were favorable to them. - Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
- But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- Those who know your name will put their trust in you,
for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.
