And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?
Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine.Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.
After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.

Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves waist coverings.

At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”Then Job got up, tore his robe, and shaved his head; then he fell to the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked I shall return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.’
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.”
Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb also entered then, and he saw and believed. For they did not yet understand the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead.
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because on it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us, for the glory of God.
Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.
There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
