But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.Therefore, strive to be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.

So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Rather, you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.
But when you are arrested and stand trial, don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.When they arrest you and bring you to trial, do not be concerned beforehand about what you are to say. Simply say whatever is given to you when that time comes, for it will not be you who speak but the Holy Spirit.
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.Dear children, you are from God and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
But the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.”He said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised. He is not here. See the place where they laid him.”
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.
There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.Some friends can lead us to ruin, but a true friend is closer than a brother.
And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.If you are angry, do not sin. Do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not give the devil an opening.
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it leads to death.
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”
Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.Beloved, I pray that everything is going well with you and that your bodily health is equal to that of your soul.
One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.”After John had baptized all the people, and while Jesus was engaged in prayer after also having been baptized, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.”
Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.O Lord, hear my prayer, incline your ear to my supplications. In your faithfulness respond to me with your righteousness.

For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
