- For there is not a word on my tongue,
but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. - For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
- For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
- In all hard work there is profit,
but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty. - A highway will be there, a road,
and it will be called “The Holy Way”.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
but it will be for those who walk in the Way.
Wicked fools shall not go there. - Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.
- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
- There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling.
- There are those who covet greedily all day long;
but the righteous give and don’t withhold. - Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.
- Where there is no counsel, plans fail;
but in a multitude of counselors they are established. - A man of many companions may be ruined,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
- Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.
- Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.
- In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience,
but he who restrains his lips does wisely. - Then those who gladly received his word were baptized. There were added that day about three thousand souls.
- Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.
- “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for.”
- The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.
- According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.
- There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
