And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing. | When you realize your guilt in any of these, you shall confess the sin that you have committed. |

Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? | Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? |
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. |
And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. | Then the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our lasting good, so as to keep us alive, as is now the case. |
Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. | From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this ought not to be so. |

For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them. | Those who are wise understand these things; those who are discerning know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them. |
How they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. | For they said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, indulging their own ungodly lusts.” It is these worldly people, devoid of the Spirit, who are causing divisions. |
Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. | When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. |
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. | Let your word be ‘Yes, Yes’ or ‘No, No’; anything more than this comes from the evil one. |
