They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
